E2E Programme

What is e2e?
The e2e programme aims to help young people who are not yet ready or able to enter apprenticeship programmes, further education or other employment directly. Through e2e young people are helped to prepare for progression to employment with training, employment, apprenticeship, further education and training.

Who can take part in e2e?
Young people aged 16 – 19 years old who are not participating in any form of learning.

How long will e2e last?
E2E is not measured by time but based on the needs of each individual. We recognise that you are individuals and we are not looking for ‘quick-fixes,’ some of you may need relatively short periods of time to prepare for entry to apprenticeships, employment or further vocational learning opportunities.

How many hours per week will you have to attend e2e?
This will depend on your needs but we expect you to attend a minimum of between 16 to 30 hours per week.

How much money will you receive?
EMA training allowance and/or travel expenses.

What’s in the programme?
There are 3 areas of learning to the e2e programme: -

  • Life Skills – Literacy and Numeracy
  • Personal and Social Development options e.g. mentoring, advice and guidance, visits, assertiveness and confidence building training, Anger Management etc
  • Vocational development in Administration, Motor Vehicle Studies, Basic Construction Skills, Music Technology. We also deliver CLAIT and CLAIT Plus.


Is there a qualification?
Yes if you are ready to undertake a National Vocational Qualification this is available and other recognised qualification in First Aid, Food Hygiene and Health and Safety.
